Verena Kandler (*1995 in Bobingen) lives and works near Munich. As a visual artist, she deals with the utilisation of images and materials. The focus lies on a transformation towards true personal and social values. Her practice seeks to engage in public space and with project partners outside the established art scene. She studied art education and art history at the University of Augsburg and Vienna.   
 
Bluepingu e.V. (Nuremberg)
The aim of Bluepingu e.V. is to make our cities and our region more liveable and greener and to preserve the natural foundations of life on our planet. Their projects and events are open to the public and show that a sustainable and resource-saving lifestyle not only secures our future, but is also fun.

turtle magazin(e) aims to make art a social practice and a collective, creative process - with people who create art and people who like art. The magazine is a bilingual, interdisciplinary online platform for visual and textual art. 

Recycle Ram
Verena Kandler's ram sculpture can be seen as a symbolic representation of a new awareness for action. With bright colours and recycled waste materials in the form of collages, the figure faces the future and the challenges ahead. The work is a call for transformative thinking regarding the values and the resources we live with.
